TikTok content creator Beyondstarlight2021 recently posted a clip from their Elder Scrolls Online player housing in which they reveal a colorful memorial dedicated to his wife that passed away. Player housing was first introduced to Elder Scrolls Online in 2017 prior to the game’s first major expansion, Morrowind, which revisited a classic location from the series. Elder Scrolls Online players can choose between a variety of sizes of houses, inn rooms, apartments, manors, and even more options are in the in-game Crown Store.

Beyondstarlight2021’s clip begins with the Elder Scrolls Online fan expressing how much he and his wife played the fantasy-themed MMO together and that he wanted to do something special to memorialize her in the game. “This entire chapel is her memorial in my home,” said Beyondstarlight2021 as he entered the Elder Scrolls Online house to highlight a bright memorial with a statue extending a white orb to the heavens. A peace pond with floating plants is surrounded by lit-up wedding flowers in the centerpiece of Beyondstarlight2021’s memorial for his wife, with the flowers leading to the aforementioned statue and her sarcophagus.

A praying statue is placed at either end of the sarcophagus that is surrounded by glowing flowers and adorned with the sword and shield of a warrior, with a central larger angel statue holding a floating white orb. There are two aquariums placed in Beyondstarlight2021’s memorial for his wife in dedication to her love for the in-game item and a golden lab near one of the aquariums represents a dog his wife once had. Other than this Elder Scrolls Online memorial dedicated to his wife, Beyondstarlight2021 only has a bench included in his home so that he can sit in between the statues and peace pond to observe his creation as the Elder Scrolls Online Argonian hero he has customized.

Since sharing his Elder Scrolls Online memorial to his wife on TikTok, Beyondstarlight2021 has reached nearly half a million TikTok users, with many fans wanting Bethesda to create an NPC of Beyondstarlight2021’s wife to honor her memory just as it has made an Elder Scrolls 6 NPC based on Skyrim Grandma. Many Elder Scrolls Online fans expressed enthusiasm for the memorial and wishes to visit the site for themselves on top of condolences for the terrible loss experienced by Beyondstarlight2021. While this Elder Scrolls Online memorial has brought happiness to some players, Beyondstarlight2021 has stated that creating the monument was necessary to surviving the experience rather than just being a coping mechanism.

Elder Scrolls Online is available now for Google Stadia, Mac, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
