Of course, players can still earn new ESO titles for completing the main High Isle storyline, finishing side content, and earning achievements in Dreadsail Reef. The Tales of Tribute titles are all tied to progression in the club, both in terms of raw experience and competitive multiplayer.
Roister’s Club and Tales of Tribute Titles
There are two types of Tales of Tribute titles added with the High Isle Chapter, being titles tied to the Roister’s Club directly, and titles tied to progression in Tales of Tribute. Only one title is not tied to progression, Club Virtuoso, which is earned by using Patron powers a number of times.
The eight titles for Roister’s Club ranks are named after the rank itself, so earning the Novice rank gives the Novice title, the Master rank rewards the Master title, etc. Four of these new titles are tied to the Ebony, Quicksilver, Voidsteel, and Rubedite rankings in competitive Tales of Tribute play.
Dreadsail Reef Trial Titles
The new Trial Dreadsail Reef is slowly being conquered by Elder Scrolls Online PvE guilds, and many are moving onto the harder difficulties for a shot at earning truly impressive titles. The Dreadsail’s Scourge title is the easiest to get, as it can be earned on any difficulty of the Trial.

The Seaborne Slayer and Soul of the Squall achievements require players to complete the Trial on Veteran mode, while the Swashbuckler Supreme title is one of the hardest to get as it requires that players earn every single other Dreadsail Reef achievement, not just the ones associated with titles.
Story and Other Quest Titles
Every ESO Chapter comes with a set of titles tied to completion of the main story, completion of new world content, and completion of side quests and other new content. The Three Thrones’ Defender title is earned for simply completing the main story, and it’s the easiest title to get in the High Isle Chapter if you rush the questline. The Savior of High Isle title is earned for completing every major task in the Adventure Guide for High Isle and Amenos.
The Knight Errant title, on the other hand, is tied to the “Flower of Chivalry” achievement, which requires players to complete a laundry list of tasks throughout High Isle that aren’t necessarily just new world content. It’s difficult to get, but completing little pieces of it as you go through the new Chapter is easier than doing it all at once. In addition to the Knight Errant title, though, players also get a new Tales of Tribute Patron - Rahjin, the Purring Liar.
