One of the toughest boss encounters in Elden Ring is Malenia the Severed. Also known as the Blade of Miquella, Malenia has become infamous due to the challenge that she has provided for those who have played the game. Even with players such as Let Me Solo Her defeating Malenia in Elden Ring 2,000 times, the boss causes many gamers to rage.

One Redditor known as D4RKL1NGza shared an image of a build that they made for Elden Ring’s PvP. The character is seen wearing Malenia’s outfit, has her sword equipped, and sports the long red hair that she is seen with. However, underneath the character’s helm is an impressive beard. It is shown that the player has named him Manlenia, turning their PvP build into a gender-swapped version of Malenia.

Redditors are enjoying the version of Malenia that D4RKL1NGza created. Many commenters are coming up with nicknames for the character, which include Blade of Michael and Beard of Miquella. One user stated that the build looks like one of the men who dress up as female characters at conventions, while another mentioned that this is where Let Me Solo Him will come in. A Redditor parodied the line that Malenia recites in Elden Ring when players enter her boss arena, changing it to, “I am Manlenia, blade of Mitchella, and my beard has never known defeat.” D4RKL1NGza said that they made the build for the meme, and it seems that a lot of gamers are enjoying it.

Elden Ring’s PvP has led to other enjoyable moments alongside D4RKL1NGza’s Manlenia build. A Reddit user going by the name KingWhuck posted images of a player using an Elden Ring character based on Kratos from the original God of War trilogy, and they then ran into the older version of the protagonist from more recent games. Both designs were spot on, perfectly recreating Kratos at both points in his life. It is not known which version of the character won the battle, as KingWhuck only posted pictures of the two coming face-to-face, leaving the fight up to speculation. KingWhuck and D4RKL1NGza are both showing the kind of fun that players can have when they play PvP in Elden Ring.

Elden Ring is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
