Malenia, Blade of Miquella, is arguably the most famous boss of Elden Ring, even more than the Elden Beast, the game’s final boss. Despite being optional, Malenia is considered the most challenging boss from Elden Ring due to her aggressive nature and unique attacks. People often show their love by dedicating various art forms to her, like paintings, pencil drawings, and even 3D printed sculptures. Now, a fan has shown Malenia in a crossover art alongside a special Pokemon.

Reddit user lucarioro is the one who deserves credit for the art showing Malenia holding Pikachu in her arms. The user shared an image on the social media platform that shows the two of them together with the former rubbing the latter’s head. Pikachu seems to enjoy Malenia’s actions as suggested by its facial expressions. Moreover, a subtle grin on Malenia’s face can also be seen, who is depicted in her first form before she turns into Malenia, Goddess of Rot.
As expected, the post grabbed the attention of the Elden Ring and Pokemon communities on Reddit, who showed their appreciation through more than 2,400 upvotes. The picture also received numerous positive comments, praising the original poster for their unique thought and creativity. One user imagined a hypothetical Malenia who works with Pikachu, performing shock and scarlet rot combo attacks. Meanwhile, another person suggested Pikachu will get scarlet rot after spending a long time with Malenia in the Lands Between.
Lucarioro’s crossover art is not the first time someone has combined Malenia with a character from a different franchise. Not long ago, a Reddit user created a combination art featuring Princess Zelda and Malenia from Elden Ring. Even though the two have almost nothing in common, the artist captured the most notable traits of each and created a unique version of Zelda as a masked swordswoman.
As mentioned above, Malenia has a global fan base from different corners. While many of these fans have died at the hands of Malenia numerous times, fans continue to admire her. Such players should continue to hone their combat skills in Elden Ring and build their character before trying to beat Malenia.
